• IPL(Indian Premier League) has been postponed for an indefinite period due to corona virus (Covid-19)
Declared by BCCI president Sourav Ganguly.
Since the monsoon period is two months later, BCCI board is planing to hold the ipl in September or October. As for the corona virus, Board is not thinking about the World Cup right now. Since then IPL is expected to be launched in a new format later that month.
The BCCI will work closely with the Government of India along with the Ministry of Youth affairs and sports, Ministry of health and Family welfare and all other relevant Central and State Government departments in this regard
The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) met the Indian Premier League Franchises owners t the board headquatersin Mumbai to discuss the Novel Corona virus outbreak and it's impact on the upcoming season.
• The European League represents professional soccer league in Europe and it's members include the top flights ofvEngland, Spain, Germany, France and Italy, which have all been suspended due to the corona virus(covid-19) pandemic.
