Lockdown has been increased once again to fight aginst the Corona virus. The government has released the guidelines for Lockdown 5. This time a lot of concession has been given.
The new guidelines will continue from June 1 to June 30.
According to the new guidelines, exemption will be given in a phased manner outside the Containment Zone, but for the time being it will be completely banned.

- Temples, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls will be allowed to open from June 8, 2020.
- Schools, colleges, educational institutions will be opened after consultation with the Union Health Ministry.
- International flights, metro services, cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theaters, bars and auditoriums, places like assembly halls, etc. can be considered. However, no date has been given.
According to the guidelines, the state governments can decide to open a school-college after consultation with the parents of the children. Currently, there will be an effort to open schools from July. On which states can take their own decision. In July, it will be decided whether to open schools or not.
The West Bengal government has decided to extend the lock down till June 15 with additional relaxations on a conditional basis. The government has decided to divide the Red Zones into three categories- Category A, Category B, or Category C.

- No activities, including social or economic, will be permitted in ‘Category A’ or the containment zones.
- Industries, offices, hotels, salons, construction work, governmental work will be permitted. Intra-state bus and cab services, as well as e-commerce and courier services of essential and non-essential commodities, will be permitted in Category B or C (non containment zone).
During this time Corona protocol has to be followed. People have to ensure social distancing.
