For the first time in the history of IPL, 3 super overs on the same day

Sunday, 18.10.2020: There were two matches in the Dream 11 IPL on Sunday. The first match was between Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad. The second match was between Mumbai Indian vs Kings XI Punjub. Both the matches were tied in the allotted 20 overs and ended in a super over. But in the second match, that is, in the match between Mumbai Vs Punjab, no decision was made in the first super over, so the match ended in the second super over.


The match of Kolkata vs Hyderabad reached the Super Over,  Kolkata Knight Riders beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in Super Over.

Batting first, Kolkata scored 163 for 5 in 20 overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad score 163 for 6 in 20 overs in run chase.

KKR wins the match and take two points 

David Warner and Jonny Bairstow to open the SRH innings in the Super Over. Lockie Ferguson with the ball for KKR. Sunrisers Hyderabad lost 2 wickets and scored 2 runs in Super Over. It is said that it is the lowest run in the history of IPL 2020.

Kings XI Punjab Vs Mumbai Indians Two super over

First super over tie

On the other hand, Sunday's second match Mumbai vs Punjab reached the super over. First time in the history of IPL 2020, we have got two Super Over games in a match.



KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran are out in the middle to bat for Kings XI Punjab in the Super Over. Jasprit Bumrah will bowl the over for Mumbai Indians. Kings XI Punjab lost 2 wickets and scored 5 runs in Super Over.

Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma come out to the middle for Mumbai Indians in the Super Over. Mohammed Shami has the ball in hand for Kings XI Punjab. Mumbai Indians also score 5 runs and the super over is tied.

Second super overKings XI Punjab wins

The batsmen and the bowlers involved in the first Super Over can not take part in the second Super over. Mumbai Indians score 11 runs in second. Mayank Agarwal and Chris Gayle are out in the middle to chase down 12 runs in the Super Over. Kings XI Punjab wins the match at super over. Chris Gayle hit six in the second super over to make Punjab's victory easier.
